Author Guidelines

The Cadernos Técnicos da CGU are a technical and professional publication aimed at the institutional dissemination of studies, experiences, and good practices developed within the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU), and are produced in response to the specific needs of its technical areas.

The Cadernos Técnicos do not have an open call for submissions, as each issue is structured around previously defined editorial projects.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines and described in the specific guidelines of the call for papers in the case of the special edition to which it is submitted.
  • The text is 1,5 line spacing; uses Garamond, a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

The Journal Cadernos Técnicos da CGU  follows a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY), which allows the use and sharing of published works, as long as credit is given to authors and sources.

We highlight some essential and non-exhaustive points related:

  • The submission of the contribution implies a commitment not to submit it to another journal and authorizes if approved, its publication.
  • The submission of the contribution also implies that the authors agree with the publication, without resulting in remuneration, reimbursement, or compensation of any kind.
  • The published works are the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the opinion of the Journal Cadernos Técnicos da CGU.
  • The responsibility for eventual plagiarism, fraud, or inaccuracies is the responsibility of the authors.
  • The author responsible for the submission declares, under the penalties of the Law, that the information about the authorship of the work is absolutely complete and true.
