ACCESS TO INFORMATION, JOURNALISM AND FAKE NEWS

This essay raises a series of reflections on the human right of access to information in the digital age and in the face of the phenomenon of fake news, which upsets the certainty and veracity that, as logical-necessary presuppositions, underlie said fundamental right. Likewise, and in this context, it reflects on the role of the State, but above all, of the media and journalists, as actors who have the possibility of influencing the construction of useful certainties for people and of a social conscience through a duly and truthfully informed public opinion and of dealing with the phenomenon of fake news.
