Reopening for submissions and renewal of the Journal's Editorial Commission

2021-01-20

The Revista da CGU is reopened for submissions of articles, translations, and reviews, now through its new portal available at revista.cgu.gov.br. Submissions were suspended since Dec 17 due to the update of its editorial process software to the latest version of the OJS (Open Journal System). With the new version, our editorial services, news management, and navigability on our portal have become easier, more efficient, and safer.

We also inform that the Journal's Editorial Commission had its composition renewed. Since the end of 2019, the Revista da CGU has been undergoing an intense effort to improve its management and editorial process to strengthen its role as a vehicle for promoting and disseminating scientific research, led by a commission of editors appointed for this purpose.

In 2020, two numbers with significant internationalization were published, which had a renewed layout and two special dossiers. There was a strong increase in the number of submissions and citations and its indexes and impact during the year. Besides, the Journal's policies, guidelines, and portal have been completely updated, being more adherent to the best editorial practices and presented in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. The Journal also had its content indexed in new repositories and databases to increase its visibility. Closing the cycle, the Journal's editorial commission was renewed, being formed by the following editors:

I - Daniel Matos Caldeira, como editor-chefe;

II - Vítor César Silva Xavier;

III - Danusa da Matta Duarte Fattori;

IV - Flávio Rezende Dematté; e

V - Mariana Barbosa Cirne.
