Em março de 2022 quando divulgamos o edital da chamada de trabalhos para o Dossiê Especial “Ciência de Dados na Administração Pública: Desafios e Oportunidades” tínhamos uma expectativa otimista em relação à sua recepção no campo, sobretudo pela interdisciplinaridade da temática, mas especialmente pela sua urgência e incontornabilidade.
A recepção foi muito além do cenário mais confiante esperado e batemos o recorde de submissões para uma chamada de dossiê especial da Revista da CGU. A Edição Complementar Ciência de Dados na Administração Pública, que ora apresentamos, é fruto desse exitoso resultado e nesse sentido trazemos um novo conjunto de valorosos trabalhos que apresentam discussões de fronteira dialogada com esse contexto de mudança da administração pública à partir do olhar da ciência como seu porto seguro.
Se na edição lançada em dezembro de 2022 trouxemos uma capa que emoldurava a discussão da ciência de dados à luz do contraste da necessidade de melhor prestação de serviços públicos para superação das desigualdades sociais, nessa edição, apresentamos uma capa que foi elaborada por plataformas de Inteligência Artificial (IA).
