INTERNATIONALIZATION FRAMEWORK IN THE CONTEXT OF THE LATTES PLATFORM IMPROVEMENTS

Abstract

In an effort to evolve initiatives related to information management in science and improve extraction procedures and interoperability with curricular data sources, in November 2021 the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development - CNPq and the Foundation for Science and a Tecnologia – FCT de Portugal established an agreement focused on the joint development of research activities and other initiatives on topics of common interest. Among the intentions of the international cooperation agreement (ICA), the exchange of researchers in the themes of scientific data management and data repositories in current research was foreseen.
This technical report presents the intervention proposal called CV-PTBR framework, which will guide the work of assimilation of technologies and their elements for use in projects to improve data import routines in the Lattes Platform and the evolution of integrations of data on the CIÊNCVIAVITAE Platform in Portugal. The Framework aims to establish a joint work protocol based on guidelines between the CNPq and FCT teams. In the case of Lattes, the possibility of improvement with the adoption of the Framework will be given by the presentation of a prototype of interfaces and the proposition of scenarios, especially in the improvement of data routines and the use of international standardization for its maintenance and updating.
